PURPOSE: A manipulation panel mounting structure of an audio visual system for a vehicle is provided to increase the width of a manipulation panel for reducing the spacial limitation in the arrangement of an LCD part, various manipulation buttons and nobs. CONSTITUTION: A manipulation panel mounting structure of an audio visual system for a vehicle includes a main body(10) coupled with a rim element(20) at a front part by coupling elements and guide rails(11) on an inner surface adjacent to the rim element. The rim element is mounted with a manipulation panel(30) rotatably by a predetermined angle degree on a front surface. The manipulation panel is provided with rotation arms(31) at both right and left upper parts, wherein the rotation arms have guide rollers(32) on free ends. The manipulation panel is hinge-coupled with a tray on right and left lower parts to move to and fro by a loading part. In association with the movement of the tray, the lower part of the manipulation panel moves accordingly and the upper part becomes lifted or lowered along the movement of the guide rollers. The guide rails are formed on the inner surface of the rim element and the rotation arms are mounted to the upper part of the manipulation panel, so that the width(l) of the manipulation panel becomes equal to an external width of the rim element.
