A card connector(1) of the present invention includes a connector body(2), a cover member(3) in combination with the connector body(2), contact terminals(5) arranged in the connector body(2), and a card-ejection preventing mechanism(7) provided in a card-inserting opening(4) of the connector body(2), wherein the card-ejection preventing mechanism(7) has a card-stopper cap(8) adapted to be slidable along the card-inserting opening(4) of the connector body(2), so that the ejection of a card(C) due to the vibration or the shock is prevented and a contact portion(5a) is always brought into contact with a card pad section. <IMAGE> |
