LINE ON GLASS TYPE LCD AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A line on glass type LCD and a method for fabricating the same are provided to form storage voltage supply lines for direct storage voltage application to the storage line without passing gate drive ICs, thereby linearly increasing the resistance components per gate line regardless of the stepped difference of the resistance components between the gate drive ICs and preventing the luminance difference among horizontal line blocks. CONSTITUTION: A line on glass type LCD includes storage voltage supply lines(90) applied with storage voltages(VST) and formed in gate link parts to be connected to storage on common type storage lines(92) traversing pixel electrodes. The storage voltage generated in a power supply part is applied to the storage lines via the supply lines instead of gate drive ICs. Storage capacitors are formed between the storage lines and pixel electrodes and keep charged voltages in the pixel electrodes by the storage voltage supplied to the storage lines.
