PURPOSE: A gap measuring tape is provided to easily and precisely measure a size of a gap when trimming, shearing and cutting works for a panel are carried out. CONSTITUTION: A gap measuring tape(10) has a predetermined thickness and includes plural layers(12). The gap measuring tape(10) has a base, on which adhesive(14) is coated by a predetermined thickness. The gap measuring tape(10) is cut into predetermined size or has a roll shape. The plural layers(12) are compressed with high pressure and have different colors from each other. When a trimming process is carried out, the gap measuring tape(10) is attached to a side of a lower trip steel. Then, an upper trim steel is moved down so as to cut the gap measuring tape(10). At this time, a size of the gap is recognized by checking a color of the gap measuring tape(10).
