PURPOSE: A device for preventing the excessive vibration of a driver's seat of a bus is provided to control up and down vibrations of the driver's seat to traveling conditions of the bus and the weight of the driver in an optimal range and accordingly to secure a safe and comfortable driving for the driver. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the excessive vibration of a driver's seat of a bus is composed of a damper(9) for damping vibration mounted between upper and lower end plates(2,3); a load sensor(10) installed between a seat(1) and the upper end plate; a pressure sensor(12) disposed in the middle of an air line(11) for connecting an air spring(6) with a leveling valve(7) connected with a rotary motor(14); a frequency measuring instrument(15) for measuring the vibration frequency of the vehicle; and a controller(16) electrically connected with the load sensor, the pressure sensor, the rotary motor, and the vibration frequency measuring instrument. The controller compares a resonant frequency value computed by processing a signal value input from the load sensor and pressure sensor with a frequency value input from the frequency measuring instrument, operates the rotary motor connected with the leveling valve to the compared result, regulates the amount of air of an air tank(8) injected through the leveling valve to the air spring, and accordingly controls the vibration of the seat by regulating the elasticity of the air spring.
