PURPOSE: A DSS(Data Storage Server) for Internet public telephone kiosks and a method for storing data using the same are provided to offer data storage space for each user and to enable the data stored in a recording medium to be used at the third mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An Internet public telephone kiosk user selects whether he will make a telephone call or use the Internet(201). In the case of selecting the usage of the Internet, the user should select whether he will use the Internet generally or access a DSS(205). For DSS access, the user executes DSS log-in process(208). Then the user transmits and receives data between the Internet public telephone kiosk and the DSS(209). At this moment, the user reads data from a recording medium using a CD reader/writer in the Internet public telephone kiosk and stores the data in the DSS(210). Or the user stores his own data, stored in the DSS, in a recording medium(211).
