PURPOSE: A method for preparing a disulfide derivative is provided, to improve the yield of a disulfide derivative by introducing a dithionitrile derivative with a high solubility to an organic solvent as an intermediate. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of adding sodium nitrite to an aminonitrile compound to prepare an intermediate, and adding sodium disulfide to the intermediate to prepare the dithionitrile derivative represented by the formula 2; hydrolyzing the dithionitrile derivative of the formula 2 to prepare the disulfide derivative represented by the formula 1, wherein X is independently Cl, Br or F. Preferably the ratio of sodium nitrite to the aminonitrile compound is 1-2 molar equivalent; the ratio of sodium disulfide to the intermediate is 1-2 molar equivalent; and the ratio of the base having a hydroxyl group for hydrolysis to dithionitrile derivative is 1-2 molar equivalent.
