<p>A removable handle for pots comprises a hooking element (7) for fastening to a pot (1), a grip element (8) connected to the hooking element (7) and adapted to be grasped with one hand. The hooking element (7) has a first engagement surface (10) and a second engagement surface (12) that are movable between an open position, at which the first engagement surface (10) is spaced apart from the second engagement surface (12), and a closed position at which the first engagement surface (10) is positioned close to the second engagement surface (12) to clamp a rim (5) of the pot (11) therebetween.
