PURPOSE: To prevent transient phenomena due to the difference in eccentric rails at head switching time in a compensation method of a disk device which has eccentric deviation between a plurality of disk surfaces. CONSTITUTION: In a head position control method which allows feedforward of a plurality of disk surfaces to be carried out with eccentric compensation current of each head, at head switching time, speed fluctuation between heads or level difference in current is estimated from the eccentric compensation current and a control system is compensated, so that the speed fluctuation and the level difference in current are canceled.
