The therapy planning assistance method has a capability or disability profile for a patient in a databank (12) accessed via a data processing station (10), for comparing the patient profile with the results which can be provided by a number of possible therapy modules or treatments, obtained from a different databank (11,11a), for selecting the therapy modules or treatments which are most appropriate to the patient for obtaining the best result. An Independent claim for a system for assisting planning of rehabilitation therapy is also included.
