PRE-HEATER USING POSITIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT

PURPOSE: A pre-heater using a positive temperature coefficient is provided to improve water-tightness and allow convenient assembly by forming a plate of a heat sink assembly placed in a housing integrally with the housing. CONSTITUTION: A pre-heater comprises a housing(60) and a positive temperature coefficient set(70). The housing comprises a main body(61); a coolant inlet tube(62) and a coolant outlet tube(63) extended from both sides of the main body; a bracket(65) attached on an upper side of the main body; a flat plate(66) sealing a lower side thereof; and a heat sink plate extended from the flat plate into the main body, and having a plurality of positive temperature coefficient receiving parts(67) opened downward. The positive temperature coefficient set comprises positive temperature coefficients(71) inserted to the receiving part, electrode terminals contacting with the positive temperature coefficient; and a uniting member(73) uniting ends(72a) of the electrode terminals. Coolant flowing in the housing is prevented from infiltrating into the positive temperature coefficient set in the heat sink plate.
