METHOD FOR TESTING BRANCH LINE AND PDP ELECTRODE USING FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS

PURPOSE: A method is provided to allow for ease test and control of resolution by measuring frequency characteristics of the signal passing through the branch line or electrode, while reducing costs. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of applying test signals of frequencies to an end of a transmission line; a second step of detecting the size or phase for each frequency of the signal output from the other end of the transmission line; and a third step of judging the existence of the branch line by analyzing the size or phase characteristics detected in the previous step. The third step detects short-circuits and impedance mis-match of the branch line by analyzing the frequency characteristics curve of the signal output from the other end of the transmission line.
