PURPOSE: An Internet access method of a user terminal using different networks as connection networks is provided to enable a user to preset various connection points, and to display the connection points connectable from a current position of the user, thereby attempting connections to the connection points. CONSTITUTION: A driver of a wireless LAN card is loaded into a user terminal system(510). The system checks a wireless LAN access point or a wireless LAN ad-hoc terminal(511). The system confirms connection points connectable from a current position(520). If so, a user selects a connection point to be connected(521), and attempts a connection to the selected connection point(522). The connection is successful(523). If the user is connected to an access point connected with a public wireless LAN network, the user is authenticated(540). An authentication processor transmits user information and a password to a public wireless LAN access point(541), and receives IP and DNS information from a DHCP server(561). A user terminal is ready to access the Internet(562). A connection completion message is transmitted to an authentication server, and a disassociation signal is transmitted to the access point(563).
