PURPOSE: A method for transmitting/receiving a text message having wall paper is provided to display wall paper as a background of a text message, thereby transmitting the text message with various methods by overcoming restrictions on the text message. CONSTITUTION: When a user inputs a text message(210) and clicks an input completion button(212), a mobile communication terminal generates a header showing that the text message includes text only(214). The mobile communication terminal combines the header with the text message(216), and outputs a screen determining whether to select wall paper(218). If the user selects storage of the text message(220), the text message with the header is stored in a memory of the mobile communication terminal(230). If the user selects transmission of the text message without the wall paper, the text message with the header is transmitted to a base station, and the text message is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal of a receiver(244). |
