PURPOSE: A device for improving the function of a vehicle is provided to reduce exhaust gas and to improve fuel efficiency by using a cigar jack without varying wiring. CONSTITUTION: A device(200) for improving the function of a vehicle is composed of a cigar jack(230) for receiving power from a battery and a generator, a constant voltage unit converting the power of the vehicle to a drive voltage, an A/D converter converting an analog power to digital data, a microprocessor receiving the drive voltage and the digital data and generating a pulse width modulation signal, a voltage display unit(220) displaying the voltage computed by the microprocessor, and a chopper circuit unit. The chopper circuit unit receives the pulse width modulation signal, and supplies energy to the cigar jack.
