PURPOSE: A developing unit of an image forming apparatus is provided to smoothly clean a developing roller and maintain regular developing solution supply, thereby preventing an outer diameter of a developing solution supply roller from being reduced and improving the quality. CONSTITUTION: A developing solution container(41) contains developing solution. A developing roller(42) rotates with facing a photo conductor medium(20) to supply the developing solution to the photo conductor medium where an electrostatic latent image is formed. A developing solution supply roller(43) is installed to rotate in a state of being contacted with the developing roller, and has an outer peripheral surface formed on an elastic cell structure. An elasticity recovery member(44) contacts with the developing solution supply roller at a predetermined pressure for maintaining and recovering softness and elasticity of the developing solution supply roller.
