PURPOSE: A primary drive gear for a one-way clutch and manufacturing method thereof is provided to shorten the length of the process and to reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a primary drive gear for a one-way clutch comprises the steps of: forming a body(110) having a middle unit, an upper unit, and an expansion unit(114); forming a tooth unit(120) fixed to the outer circumference of the upper unit; forming a flange unit(130) fixed to the outer circumference of the expansion unit and having an extension unit(134); and joining the tooth unit and the flange unit to the outer circumference of the body.
