METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ANTIDAZZLE REFLECTION PREVENTING FILM

PURPOSE: To apply antidazzle reflection preventing film to a highly accurate display by imparting an antidazzle property to reflection preventing film without deteriorating the reflection preventing performance of the reflection preventing film. CONSTITUTION: Embossing is applied to at least one side of the reflection preventing film 11. The embossing is performed by press working by using an embossing roller 14 or an embossing plate. Arithmetic average roughness is set from 0.05μm to 2.00μm and also average cycle is set <=50μm for the unevenness of a plate used in the embossing. Press linear pressure is set from 500N/cm to 4,000N/cm or press pressure is set from 5x10¬5 Pa to 40x10¬5 Pa. The unevenness of the surfaces of the embossing roller 14 and the embossing plate is made by a beads shot method using beads whose diameter is from 0.1μm to 50μm. The antidazzle property and a glare preventing property are made compatible in the thus obtained reflection preventing film 11, and also rubbing damage resistance and a antifouling property are excellent, so that excellent aptitude for the highly accurate display is obtained.
