The machine for cutting blocks of granite, marble and stone in general, comprises a mobile portal frame running on guide rails secured to the foundation, a device (36, 37) for moving it along the rails, an assembly of multiple diamond disks (2; 26), and having the direction of cut of the said assembly of disks transverse to that of the guides (8; 9) and that there are at least two braking devices (40) for the said portal-frame on the guide-rails. The plant of cut comprise at least one mobile portal-frame block cutter and at least one trimming machine, also of the mobile portal-frame type, has all two machines slide on the same guide-rails (8; 9). <IMAGE> |
