The hub has a central cylindrical bore (48) and has external teeth (30), which may be slightly tapered. The inner ends of the teeth (56) extend into a groove (50) inside a cylindrical flange (54) on a socket (20) with a cylindrical outer surface (74). The diameter (60) of the socket is greater than the outside diameter (62) of the teeth. A radial flange (28) carries rearward projections (40) which can engage with a torsional vibration damper.
