<p>The anode of a metal-air battery includes a plate-like body made of a composite anode plate including a reaction layer, a reaction-enhancing layer and a collector layer. A plurality of fins are formed on and extending from a surface of the anode plate. A plurality of openings are selectively defined in the anode plate in correspondence to the fins.
