The assembly includes a connection element (80,80') which are electrically connected to the poles of the first and second electrical apparatus of the protection and control assembly, the connection element being positioned, on one part, between the casing and the first apparatus power terminal block (40,50), and on the other part, between the casing (20) and the second apparatus power terminal block (40', 50'). The assembly includes a number of multi-polar switches, each one having a casing (10,20,30) with front and rear conductor connection bars, which project along a vertical axis on the horizontal connection area at the front and back of the casing, and which are adapted to be inserted in openings (44) of movable power terminal blocks (40,40',50,50',60).
