The ball or roller bearing for aircraft gas turbines has squeeze film (54) lubrication. A first channel system (58, 60, 61) feeds oil into the film and then on to the balls (36) or rollers from the oil chamber (46) side. A second channel system (64, 70, 72) recirculates oil so that it does not leak into the air chamber (48).
