Use of mixtures of active ingredients for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

The use of mixtures containing tocopherols (I) and extracts (II) of Salix (willow) family plants (or active agents of the extract selected from salicin, salicortin and tremulacin) in the production of medicaments for combating rheumatoid arthritis. An Independent claim is also included for the use of the (I)/(II) mixtures for inhibiting interleukin-1 beta synthesis and release of reactive oxygen species.
