Excitation of chemoreceptors in the human brain comprises dissolving a substance in water, oil or alcohol and applying the solution to the nasal mucosa. Independent claims are also included for: (1) nasal spray for treating herpes zoster by the above method, comprising mezereum D4 in alcohol or water; (2) nasal spray for treating hematoma by the above method, comprising arnica D6 in alcohol or water; (3) nasal spray for treating mastitis by the above method, comprising bryonia D8 in alcohol or water; (4) nasal spray for treating poor circulation by the above method, comprising veratrum album D8 in alcohol or water. |
