摘要 A heat treatable, rolled aluminum alloy product contains (in wt %): Si 0.95-1.10; Mg 0.45-0.7; Cu 0.1-0.3; one or more of Zr, Mn, Cr and/or Ti 0.02-0.4 total; Fe 0.4 maximum; Zn 0.25 maximum; inevitable impurities 0.05 each and 0.02 total, and aluminum the remainder. The lower limits for Si, Mg and Cu are 1.00, 0.05 (preferably 0.55), and 0.12 (preferably 0.15) weight %, respectively. The upper limits for Mg and Cu are 0.65 and 0.25 weight %, respectively. The total amount of one or more of Zr, Mn, Cr and/or Ti is 0.2 weight %, more preferably 0.05-0.2 weight %. The rolled product has a final thickness of 0.8-1.5 mm. Independent claims are given for: (a) a process for fabrication of a heat-treatable, rolled aluminum alloy product; and (b) a heat-treatable, rolled AlMgSi alloy product having the above composition and fabricated by the invented process, and being formed as a motor car body part.
