Method of manufacturing dental objects, in particular by casting

To produce a dental casting, such as for crowns, the positive mould material is inserted directly into the patient's mouth for modelling according to the articulation of the jaw and the bite, to be checked. The material, preferably based on methylacryl acid methyl ester, is such that it takes up the shape of the teeth and the mouth, and can be removed after setting without distortion. On heating, the mould is fired without residue.
