摘要 Upon arrival in a store, the identity and profile of wireless customers are determined. In one embodiment, the wireless device associated with users relays to the promotion system specific identification numbers (IDs) obtained from a wireless device corresponding to the customers. Then, the promotion system uses the IDs to retrieve a stored profile of the users in question and matches a plurality of promotions to their interests and habits. These promotions are then presented to the users either during shopping or at checkout.
