PURPOSE: Provided is a plant growing apparatus which permits the supply of a sufficient amount of oxygen and balanced culture media and various constitutions of culture media according to species of plants while freely controlling a water level. Therefore, it enables the user to cultivate plants and vegetables easily at home. CONSTITUTION: A plant growing apparatus comprises: a lower culture medium plate(14) containing a waterway(10) at a bottom and a water discharge hole(12) with a water level controller(11) and receiving a specified amount of culture medium for rooting of roots; a tunnel type net(17) allowing natural ventilation using numbers of air vent pipes(15) and prevention of entry of culture medium while covering the upper part of each waterway in semi-circular shapes and forming a specified space part; an upper planting plate(19) containing a plurality of pots(18) for planting plants; a water/culture liquid supply pipe(20) and device(21); and a water pump(23) and a culture liquid pump(24). |
