PURPOSE: A prevention fence for falling stone using expanded metal is provided to absorb energy of falling stone by the transformation of expanded metal, to prevent the lowering of an energy absorbing efficiency by a partial damaged part, and to simplify installation and maintenance works. CONSTITUTION: The prevention fence for falling stone using expanded metal contains: many column members(201) installed vertically on the lower end of an incline of an open-cut area, the ground adjacent to a road or a railway, or the footing concrete structure installed on the ground; expanded metal(202) installed between the column members(201) and forming a fence structure together with column members(201) to prevent the stone of an incline from falling toward a road or a railway; and an expanded metal fixture fixing the expanded metal(202) to the column members(201).
