PURPOSE: A method for producing calcium gluconate using enzyme reaction is provided. The production of calcium gluconate is carried out under mild condition and oxygen which is produced from the enzyme reaction in oxidation of glucose is reused. Therefore, the production costs of calcium gluconate can be decreased. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing calcium gluconate using enzyme reaction comprises the steps of: oxidizing glucose by the reaction of glucose oxidase and catalase under the atmospheric pressure and oxygen concentration of 0.2 to 0.8 vvm; and adding a pH controlling agent and calcium carbonate into the oxidized glucose, wherein the reaction temperature is 30 to 40 deg. C and the reaction pH is 5.0 to 8.0; the concentration of glucose is 20 to 50%; and the concentration of glucose oxidase or catalase relative to the concentration of glucose is 0.5 to 3.0%.
