摘要 PURPOSE: A tapping method of converter for preventing overflow of slag is provided to reduce a quantity of raw material to be used by minimizing addition of slag to ladle caused by vortex generated during converter tapping operation, thereby increasing actual yield of ferroalloy. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of decanting slag(12) floating on molten steel(5) into slag pot through the mouth(17) of a converter(1) by tilting the converter to the charging side after completing blowing in the converter; a step of feeding raw materials(22) of limestone or a mixture of limestone and slag depressant into the converter after standing the converter upright; a step of performing tapping operation by tilting the converter to the tapping side; and a step of feeding a coating material into the converter so that the converter is coated with the coating material after standing the converter upright, wherein a tilting angle of the converter to the charging side is 70 to 85 degrees, and wherein 50 to 150 kg of the limestone and 50 to 100 kg of slag depressant are fed into the converter.
