Gel antiperspirant compositions comprising an antiperspirant compound, a gelling agent selected from the group consisting of a sterol and a starch hydrolyzate ester of a C8-C22 carboxylic acid, a carrier comprising a silicone or a hydrocarbon, and, optionally, a fatty alcohol, a fatty ester, water, or a mixture thereof, are disclosed.
