An artificial stone wall material, characterized in that it comprises an inorganic fine particle component having a size in the range of 180 .mu.m to 9.5 mm containing 5 wt % or more of a transparent inorganic fine particle component, an inorganic finer particle component having a size in the range of less than 180 .mu.m and a resin component, it has a concave-convex surface having a maximum height in the range of 1 mm to 100 mm and is formed into a shape of plates or profiles followed by solidification, and the transparent inorganic fine particle component exposed on the surface thereof and the concave-convex surface provide bright points changing with the change in the irradiation of natural or artificial lights. The wall material is essentiall y different from a conventional designed combination of glossy pieces and non- glossy pieces, and it provides a novel means for finishing a wall surface which combines the functions of both types of the above pieces by the use of a single article, and allows the design of a wall face and the prediction of t he effect of the design to be performed with ease. |
