PURPOSE: An air cleaner is provided to directly change bacteria, stench and hydrocarbon in air into harmless substance using photocatalyst, enable replacement of dried herb layer, activated carbon filter and HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter as cartridge and change polluted air into fresh air and herb incense using photocatalyst. CONSTITUTION: The air cleaner is characterized in that an ultraviolet lamp(4) and a photocatalyst(3) are installed through HEPA filter(11) of cartridge at the side of an inlet(2) of main body(10) on which an electric cord is formed, a constant voltage stabilizer(6) is installed under the ultraviolet lamp(4) to stabilize corresponding wavelength of ultraviolet rays of the ultraviolet lamp(4), an activated carbon filter(9) of the cartridge is installed in rear of the photocatalyst(3), and a dried herb layer(8) is installed between the activated carbon filter(9) and a fan(7) to produce cleaned air having herb incense.
