PURPOSE: A characteristic measurement apparatus is provided to measure the threshold current and threshold transfer temperature in a rapid way, while preventing damages of the thin film specimen. CONSTITUTION: A characteristic measurement apparatus comprises a specimen mounted structure on which a plurality of high temperature superconducting coated rod wire specimens and a temperature sensor are mounted; a specimen characteristic measurement structure for fixing the specimens on the specimen mounted structure, and which is mounted with a current supply terminal for supplying a current to the specimens and a voltage terminal for measurement of the voltages of the specimens; and a support and moving unit for supporting the specimen mounted structure and permitting the specimen mounted structure to move in a vertical direction.
