PURPOSE: An image display device is provided to realize a high gradation and a high resolution as well as to obtain a high numerical aperture. CONSTITUTION: An image display device includes a plurality of data lines(Data(n)), a plurality of scan lines(Scan1,Scan2), a plurality of pixels, a scan driver and a data driving unit. The plurality of data lines(Data(n)) transmits the current including the brightness information. The plurality of scan lines(Scan1,Scan2) is arranged in such a way that it crosses with each of the data lines vertically. The first scan line(Scan1) and the second scan line(Scan2) are allocated to one pixel of one column. The plurality of pixels is arranged in a form of matrix at each cross point between the plurality of data lines(Data(n)) and the plurality of scan lines(Scan1,Scan2). The scan driver generates a signal to select at least two columns at the same time in response to the clock signal and the control signal and a signal to record the display information of a corresponding pixel. The scan driver applies the generated signal to the first scan line(Scan1) and the second scan line(Scan2) of the corresponding column, respectively. The data driving unit generates the current having the current level in response to the brightness information and applies the generated current to the data lines(Data(n)).
