PURPOSE: A method for supplying a report service based on a web and a system thereof are provided to decide a reporting format according to requests of each user, watch a report prepared using a general document editing program without an additional viewer program, and enable a user to control a manufacturing system through a network directly. CONSTITUTION: A user connects to a web server through one's web browser and performs a log-in process by inputting one's identification such as an ID and a password(301). The web server checks whether an identification inputted by the user exists in an identification information storage and a reporting format designated by the user exists in a format storage(302). If a reporting format designated by the user exists, a report is output by combining the reporting format with manufacturing related data using a manufacturing related data and format integration unit(304). If the user requests a change of the reporting format(305), a changed format is received from the user and stored in a format storage according to users(306). If the user wants to update a screen(307), a report is output as the changed format(308). If the user wants to change manufacturing related data(309), it is checked whether the user has a right capable of changing the manufacturing related data. If the user has a right capable of changing the manufacturing related data, the manufacturing related data are received from the user and the conventional data are replaced with the received manufacturing related data, thus the manufacturing related data are changed(310). A system control unit checks whether the data are changed for controlling the system(311). If the data are changed for controlling the system, the system is controlled using the data(312).
