PURPOSE: A brake device for a vehicle is provided to reduce cost of parts by improving a hydraulic brake for reduction of the vehicle speed, rationalize the work process, and prevent a user from driving with a parking brake pulled. CONSTITUTION: A brake device for a vehicle has a brake pedal(111), a booster, a master cylinder(113), a brake fluid storage(114), a vehicle speed sensor, a throttle position sensor, a brake drum(109), and a wheel cylinder(110). The brake device comprises a parking brake switch(101) outputting a signal for using the brake device as a parking brake; a first solenoid valve(104) supplying brake fluid supplied from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder of the brake drum; an accumulator(108) supplying brake fluid in parking; a vacuum pump(107) filling the brake fluid pressure of the accumulator to predetermined pressure; a second solenoid valve(105) supplying the brake fluid supplied from the accumulator to the wheel cylinder; a third solenoid valve(106) supplying the brake fluid of the brake fluid storage to the accumulator; and a control unit(102) selectively controlling the first, second, and third solenoid valves according to the signal output from the parking brake switch or the vehicle speed sensed from the vehicle speed sensor and the opening and shutting degree of a throttle valve sensed from the throttle position sensor.
