<p>The invention relates to a mixer valve for hot and cold water, provided with thermostatic regulation of the mixed water temperature by means of a thermostat (4) which is connected to a tubular-shaped double-valve seat slid er (3a,3b) which is positioned by means of a temperature pre-selection device (5). The thermostat is arranged in a housing (1) comprising at least one respective cold water inlet and one hot water inlet (10,11) and at least one mixed water outlet (12). The cross-sections of the inlet (22,23) are controlled in different directions at both inflow openings of the mixer valv e by the double-valve seat slider (3a,3b) with the aid of the two front sides thereof, whereby the double-valve seat slider (3a,3b) has an annular web (30 , 30a,30b) on which a separating sleeve (31) is embodied, said sleeve having a smaller diameter and being axially and displaceably received, at least with the two end areas thereof, in the bore (24, 26). Behind the inlet cross- sections (22,23), the cold water and the hot water are fed separately to at least one opening (301) which leads into a web (30, 30a, 30b) and into an annular mixer channel (302) in order to mix hot and cold water.
