PURPOSE: An electronic bankbook system and a method for a bank transaction using the same are provided to secure evidence data as to the final transaction by enabling an account possessor(depositor) to submit a bankbook to a bank through the Internet freely and receive the bank including the final transaction details without visiting the bank with the bankbook. CONSTITUTION: A bank discrimination unit(10) includes information such as a deposit classification, a depositor, an account number, a client number, an opening date, an issuing date, an account managing store, and an opening store telephone number for discriminating a bank, and an electronic signature of the depositor. A transaction details unit(20) includes information such as transaction date, transaction contents, transaction money, balance, and transaction store for recording transaction details between the depositor and a financial institution. A bank electronic signature unit(30) stores an electronic signature result of a bank as to the bank discrimination unit(10) and the transaction details unit(20).
