A pesticide composition which comprises an active component of a pesticide and a metal-modified apatite in the form of a powder, wherein some of the metal atoms contained in the crystal structure are photocatalytic metal atoms. The metal-modified apatite is preferably coated with an organic film exhibiting high degree of light transmittance.
