PURPOSE: Reinforcing structure for a front pillar of a vehicle is provided to increase longitudinal or lateral rigidity of the front pillar and assembling force of a cowl cross bar, and to prevent a door from drooping by forming the box type space part with adding the lateral reinforcement. CONSTITUTION: A side outer panel(8) is welded into the outside of a side inner panel(6) to form a side part(9), and a side outer reinforcement(11) is installed in the rear part of the side outer panel. A lateral reinforcement(100) is installed in the space part, and fixed between the side outer reinforcement and the side inner panel. A conical head part is formed in the upper part of the symmetrical reinforcement, and a flange part having a bolt hole is formed in the middle of the reinforcement. A bending part is formed in the lower part of the reinforcement, and bent in the end to increase the rigidity.
