STOP SECTION FOR SLIDE FASTENER, AND SLIDE FASTENER HAVING SUCH STOP SECTION

A linear slide fastener of synthetic resin, which is easily producible, rugged, free from burrs, and superior in quality, and which has an upper stop and a lower stop. A synthetic-resin-made coil-like or zigzag linear fastener element row (3) is mounted on one edge of a fastener tape (4), and a bar-like body (6) is inserted into a plurality of fastener elements on the terminal end side of the fastener element row (3) through meshing spaces (13) defined in the back of meshing heads (10) to connect them together or they are connected together by a curved plate-like body (7) surrounding and covering the surfaces of the meshing heads (10), legs (11) and connections (12), whereupon it is welded to the fastener elements (3) by ultrasonic welding, thus forming an upper stop (15) or a stop section (14) for a lower stop (16), so as to form a stop section pleasing to the eye.
