PURPOSE: A method for interfacing a DTMF standard telephone with a wireless transceiver is provided to detect duration of a transmitted DTMF tone, and to recognize as a final number if the duration is more than a certain time, thereby transmitting a telephone number to a telephone network system. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a telephone number through a key input unit(S201). The inputted telephone number is transmitted to a controller by converting into DTMF data, and the controller checks whether duration of the DTMF data is more than predetermined time(S202). If so, the controller converts the DTMF data into digital data, and reads the entire stored digital data(S203). The controller checks whether digits of the entire digital data are more than predetermined numbers(S205). If so, the controller transmits the digital data to a base station as telephone number data(S206). The user receives a call service by the telephone number(S208).
