PURPOSE: Provided is a method of raising aquatic organisms and terrestrial animals using a feed supplement containing methyl sulfonyl methane for stimulating the growth and improving the meat quality. CONSTITUTION: To raise aquatic organisms and terrestrial animals, a feed supplement containing 0.001 to 500g methyl sulfonyl methane for improving the meat quality and promoting the growth is mixed with 1kg of a feed and then fed to them. The methyl sulfonyl methane as a water-quality improver is added to water of a fish farm in the amount of 0.00001 to 100g per 1L of water. The aquatic organisms are crustaceans, shell-fishes or fishes. The terrestrial animals are pigs.
