PURPOSE: A voice announcement apparatus using a VDHL(VHSIC Hardware Description Language) is provided to improve the sound quality of voice files and easily calculate memory size by using a flash memory as a voice token memory and increasing the number of voice tokens according to the increase in memory size. CONSTITUTION: A voice announcement apparatus using a VDHL is comprised of a voice token memory(210), a CPU(250), and a voice processing part(230). The voice token memory(210) classifies and stores voice data by voice tokens. The CPU(250) outputs control signals to record, delete and operate the voice data inputted to the voice token memory(210) from the external. The voice processing part(230) comprises a voice token memory control part(231) that consists of a TAR(Token Address Register)(232), a TCR(Token Counter Register)(233), a TBR(Token Base Register)(234), and a voice token memory control logic(235). The voice processing part(230) records, deletes and operates voice data for the voice token memory(210) according to the control signals of the CPU(250).
