PURPOSE: A method for making a functional synthetic resin is provided to remove the harmful virus and toxicity, prevent adult diseases and food deterioration and improve the food taste by the addition of a functional material. CONSTITUTION: The method for making a functional synthetic resin comprising the step for mixing mineral materials with a resin is characterized in that a functional material such as loess, mud, illite, charcoal, jade and crystal is pulverized into the size of 1-10 micrometers; 1-30 wt% of one or more micro-powder selected from the above-mentioned materials, 2-3 wt% of a coupling agent, 0.5 wt% of a butyl stearate as a dispersing and softening solvent and a synthetic resin powder are mixed homogeneously in a mixer; and the mixed materials are further mixed uniformly in a high speed rotation device, extruded at the temperature of 170-220 deg.C in an extruder, cooled and then cut into a chip having a desired size.
