The fire detector comprises a detector unit with a sensor arrangement (2), a n analytical circuit and a housing (3) enclosing the sensor arrangement (2) wi th openings for the introduction of air and optionally smoke to the sensor arrangement (2). The detector is of modular construction and embodied such a s to house detection modules with sensors for various fire recognition parameters, whereby all detectors are compatible with a single housing (3). The detection modules can be embodied for optical, thermal or opto-thermal fire detection and/or for the detection of combustion gases. The sensor arrangement (2) and said inlet openings are arranged essentially on a plane with which, even in the case of a multi-purpose detector, a planar construction is achieved. The detection modules comprise a support plate (6) which is the same for all types of detector and can be applied in the detect or for the housing of the sensors for the various fire recognition parameters.< /SDOAB> |
