A control information transmission structure comprises a recognition-system control platform that recognizes a situation on the periphery of a vehicle and generates control space, an operation-system control platform that recognizes a situation relating to vehicle body motion and generates control space, and a decision-system control platform that generates decision control space based on information from the recognition- and operation-system control platforms. The control information transmission structure is formed such that sensors and individual control devices belong to either or both the recognition- and operation-system control platforms. The control platforms have a control structure that controls at a superordinate level the individual control devices.
